CAAP SELECT SKILL: Creative Idea Development

About this course:Understand what distinguishes strong creative ideas and learn how to effectively collaborate with others to elevate the creativity of communication solutions. This course shows your how to unleash your own creativity and how to work with others to unleash more breakthrough thinking in the solutions you build. Strengthen skill in collaborating with others to arrive at more compelling ideas and advertising solution development.

About CAAP: CAAP provides an advanced learning experience for marketing communications practitioners looking to excel in the business of commercial creativity, branding and communications. The CAAP program equips you with the confidence and credentials to stand out as an effective and creative business problem solver. Each CAAP Select course offers a specific skills certification recognized by the CAAP program and the industry’s governing association, the Institute of Communication Agencies.

Friday April 28 (1:00pm – 9:00pm) + Saturday April 29 (9:00am – 5:00pm).

WHO IS CAAP FOR?

The CAAP program is designed to help advance the skills of established communications practitioners with between 2-5 years of working experience. You would be well suited for CAAP if you see yourself as a creatively curious individual looking to build your strategic planning and communications solution design capabilities.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:

• Fees include facility and food cost during the program. Participants are required to cover their own travel/hotel costs. A corporate hotel rate will be provided.
  
  
• ICA MEMBER INVOICING POLICY: ICA supports program invoicing for ICA Members only. For those who qualify, an invoice billing is provided for your ICA Member organization to pay on your behalf. HOW TO CONFIRM ACCESS TO ICA MEMBER PRICING? Only Canadian communication agencies can be members of the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA). To find out if your Agency is an ICA member you can ask your HR department or review the ICA’s regularly updated ICA member list or CONTACT US to confirm.
  
  
• PROGRAM CONTENT POLICY: Fees, dates and/or course content are subject to change from previously published information at any time. ICA reserves the right to cancel this program should enrolment levels fall short of guidelines. All registration fees are reimbursed if programming is cancelled by ICA.
  
  
• REFUND POLICY: To receive standard refund, notification of enrolment cancellation must be received via email no later than ten business days prior to program start date. A non-refundable fee of $250 + HST will be deducted to meet administrative costs and any remaining balance will be refunded.
 No refunds available as of nine business days prior to the program start date.
  
  

ABOUT CAAP SELECT COURSES

CAAP Select is a cost effective way to focus on building specific skills offered within the CAAP program. CAAP Select course participants simply stream in to the core CAAP program at designated times throughout the year and complete a specific skills certification over an intensive 2 day weekend (plus a post session, 3 hour remote conference call to support follow-up learning retention).
